Knicks get back to winning ways vs. Charlotte, spoil Ewing's debut as head coach

Melo leads Knicks with 28 points

The Knicks got a huge win last night, not because of who it was against, but because they were looking for a spark to kick off the 2013-2014 season.  Before last night, the Knicks came limping into Charlotte at (1-3) and without their starting Center, Tyson Chandler.  After a players only meeting with Carmelo Anthony at the helm, the Knicks seemed to respond.  They were much more aggressive last night, especially Andrea Bargnani.  Bargnani seemed to have his first breakout game as a Knick.  Even though Carmelo lead the Knicks with 28, Andrea was a big key to the win and arguably was the reason why they came out on top.  The Knicks have a long way to go, but getting a win is exactly what the doctor ordered.  They now will have a huge test at home on Sunday, the reigning Western Conference Champions, the San Antonio Spurs.
